On Sunday Sample Minds achieved the prestigious accolade that few band can only dream of – they supported The Legendary Keith Harris and Orville!
Simon commented, “It was a bit distracting being watched from the wings by a green duck in a nappy, so apologies for me dropping a few notes on ‘Waterfront’!
The rocking set was:

There were some new arrangements of songs – including the original version of ‘Promised You a Miracle’ and due to finishing a bit sooner than expected (down to Thorsten’s driving tempos!), the band dropped in a crowd pleasing version of Depeche Mode’s ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’.
Other highlights of the weekend was the bands ocean view penthouse accommodation. BlueSkie is something else and makes the fabulous Bultins Big weekend experience even more special. Highly recommended.
The band are returning to Butlins later this week at Skegness.
